Detailed shots from the 7” x 10” Silk Screen Serigraphs I recently completed and shipped off to Indiana University! A good friend of mine names Zach Davidson invited me to do the exchange for his MFA program at the university. Prints are due this friday, so I plan to keep you all posed once I receive my share of prints from the exchange! I. am. so. excited.
Here is the final mock up for a 2 color Serigraph I will be printing next week for print exchange at Indiana University. It’s tough to pick up the creamy beige via our phones/laptops because there is so much white light being backlit from within… However, once this bad boy is on paper I think it will look phenomenal! I’ll leep you posted on its progress, and I plan to post the original drawing as well!
11” x 17” illustration and digital media. Feb. 2013. I love Captain Murphy’s sinister mixtape. It is so dirty, and freshly original I am wholly devoted to his music. With that said, one of my favorite tracks from the mixtape “Children of the Atom”, around 00:11 seconds, is where this illustration is born. Here is a link to the song if you haven’t heard it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Usd7UFL2Tk
Check it out, and if you like this piece please help me share it **REBLOG** so that maybe Fly Lo will feel so inclined to see it :)
The finished the Digital Poster I designed for the client. I definitely feels like this represents a calming yoga atmosphere. As far as I know my client LOVES it and I’m and very happy to have gotten the opportunity to brand an up and coming yoga instructor :)
After “researching” the comedian/musician Reggie Watts for the past couple of days, I decided to channel his craziness into a prolific portrait. I even creeped out and made the color palette from one of his sweaters he wore on the Conan Show. Anyways, check it out and let me know what you think. I plan on tweeting the poster to him!
p.s. if you aren’t familiar with watts here are a few of my favorite performances!
